What Happens When: You leave the bubble

Suisadaay ?eey!!! <--

So this will have to be quick, but Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Regardless of what you may think, spending Thanksgiving in the MTC was probably the best thing ever. (sorry mom, i really did miss you though). The MTC volunteers with Feeding Children Everywhere and we packaged and record number of meals for families in Utah! apparently we were so efficient we had to stop like an hour early because we ran out of supplies.... we made a total of 357,000+ they think if they would've known how quickly we could package, we could've done 500,000!!!! We then watched 17 Miracles - the movie about the pioneers - and of course we were all crying about it because it is so good. Our speaker for morning thanksgiving devotional was Elder Oaks! He even brought probably 2/3 of all of his family and they all did music numbers. It was amazing. Jenny Oaks Baker came as well and played all 3 of my favorite songs. She's kinda my idol in violin. Elder Oaks' talk was really spiritually uplifting. His message was to pray in thanks for ALL things. Especially opposition and trials. I am really greatful for all the amazing speakers we have had the opportunity to hear in the MTC!

That brings me back to the best news of all... ONE DAY MORE until CAMBODIA!!!! in t-23 hours I will be on a bus to the airport starting off my 27ish hour travel journey to a far off land. SO EXCITED. I will miss the MTC though. There really is nothing like it in the world. There isn't actually any way to fully explain the amazing miracles that happen in the MTC every day. I'm so grateful for all that I have learned here. Hopefully when I return, I'll be back - teaching or TRC or something!

I got a new companion last night, Sister Luke has returned home for now, so Sister Nguyen is now with me and Sister Brown until we get new assignments in cambodia! Never been in a trio before, so it's new! but not actually because we were always together anyway :)

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am so grateful for all the prayers and letters from all of you. I love you and miss you all! next time you hear from me, I'll probably be in some crazy internet cafe with some fun culture shock adventures to tell you about. Til next week-

Love,

Sister Haddock

Here is my new all-script nametag. THE BEST. Except we have to wear the english ones until we are in-country. So excited though. ONE DAY MORE.... if you can finish <-- that song, we are probably best friends...
